Preschool Information

Welcome to iHeart Preschool

iHeart Preschool is held 2 days a week from 8:50am – 11:20am, or 12:00pm – 2:30pm beginning August 4th.  The cost is $90 a month. Spaces are limited. Sign up now to reserve your child's spot.  You can reach me at anytime through phone or email.

This is an exceptional preschool program that meets the needs of today's child.  I provide low child-teacher ratios and individual attention to each child's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. Three and four year old children have an enormous capacity to learn and develop. Don't miss out on this critical time for your child to grow.  I have strived to create a preschool program that truly meets the needs of all children.  This school year will be fun and inspirational.

Yarn Shapes

Help them learn and practice shapes.  Not only do they learn to identify the shapes they create them on their own, and can start matching the name to the shape.  This is an easy one to make up real quick and find some yarn around the house.  Once they can make the shape with the help of the pattern they can try it without the pattern.  Found on http://www.teachpreschool.org.

We loved Dr. Seuss week!

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...”  - Dr. SeussOh, the Places You'll Go!

Button Sorting Cups

I cut a small opening in each of the lids. Make sure the hole is just big enough to slip a button in to.  That is all you need to do to make the button sorting cups.  Snap the lids onto the bowls. Now you can show your child how to slip the buttons into each cup.  Encourage the child to match the color of the buttons to the matching color cup.  They can also practice counting as they slip each button into a cup. I found my tupperware bowls at Target and the rainbow buttons on clearance at a craft store.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

Such a fun printable to practice counting! Goes along with the Dr. Seuss book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.  It is always an extra plus when you can make snack time educational!

ABC Practice Floor Game

Download and print Alphabet Floor Game ! Kids will get a kick out of jumping from one letter to the next while practicing their alphabet.  I am sure you will get a kick out of watching them.  Have them do it in alphabetical order or call out a letter and see how quickly they can find it.  This will help kids with separating L M N O and P.  You mean elemenopee?
